FAQs

  • I currently practice out of Nashville Therapy Group, in our Nashville location, at 2021 21st Avenue South, Suite 410, Nashville, TN 37212

Please note, I follow the same practice policies as Nashville Therapy Group, which can be found on their website.

  • A typical therapy session is described as a clinical hour, which is 50 minutes. Sometimes I do longer sessions based on client preference and/or if I feel a longer session would be beneficial for you.

  • My standard rate is $150 per 50 minute clinical hour. This cost factors the time we spend together in session, the time I spend in preparation for our time together, and time I spend after our session doing required documentation and treatment planning.

I deeply value the time we share together, and am committed to providing tailored support for your unique growth and goals. I approach our work with intention, and stay engaged in continued learning around the challenges my clients face. Your journey is important to me, and I take pride in being well-prepared for each session together

  • I do not accept insurance and am considered an out-of-network provider. Your insurance company may reimburse a portion of your costs if you file a claim yourself, and I am happy to help provide a Superbill for services. I do accept HSA and FSA cards as payment for sessions.

  • Every person’s therapeutic journey is unique, so the frequency of our sessions will be tailored to what works best for you. Typically, I recommend meeting weekly to help build familiarity and momentum. As we move forward, it’s common for clients to transition to biweekly or monthly sessions, depending on what feels right for your progress and goals.

I understand that factors like time, financial resources, and life circumstances may impact how often we meet. Together, we’ll discuss and determine a frequency that supports your growth while respecting your unique situation.

  • All scheduled appointments must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance or the full fee will be charged. This is necessary because the time is reserved and held exclusively for you. You can reschedule or cancel your appointment by communicating directly with me by email, text, or phone.

I understand emergencies happen that may be out of your control. I will consider these on a case-by-case basis when charging for late cancellations and will make exceptions if possible, or try to move your session to another time during the same week if available.

No charge will ever be made when cancelling due to inclement weather, as safety always comes first.

Always know, you have the option to move your in-person appointment to online/telehealth if that is an option for you in lieu of cancelling your appointment.

  • The length of time we’ll meet for therapy depends on you and is different for everyone. Each person starts therapy and chooses to continue for a variety of reasons, and there’s no one-size-fits-all answer. I believe in taking the time to truly get to know you, understand what you’re hoping to achieve, and work together to create a plan that aligns with your goals.

As we move forward, we’ll collaborate to determine what the most supportive and appropriate course for therapy looks like for you, whether that’s ongoing sessions or a different approach as your needs evolve. My focus is on empowering you throughout the process, so we can adapt and adjust in a way that feels right for you. Your growth and well-being guide our work together, and I’m privileged to support you every step of the way.
