My Approach
-
Client Centered
I’m passionate about creating an environment that feels welcoming and collaborative. Therapy isn’t a one-size-fits-all experience. So we work together to discover what fits best for you. Empowering you towards a healthier, happier, and more authentic life.
-
Evidence Based
I am trained in a variety of evidence-based therapeutic models and work closely with you to integrate an experience that is tailored to your unique needs. I’m committed to ongoing growth, staying current with the latest research and techniques through continuous learning and clinical supervision, so I can offer you the best support possible.
-
Trauma Informed
By incorporating trauma-sensitive practices, we’ll address the ways that trauma may be impacting your mind, body, and relationships. My goal is to empower you to explore your experiences and healing in a way that feels safe and supportive. Above all, you’ll feel heard, valued, and respected throughout the entire process.
Therapy For You
I believe that therapy should be as unique as you are, so my approach is all about creating what works best for you. Rather than fitting you into a set method, I want to honor the individual experiences and strengths you bring to our work together.
I use an integrative approach, influenced by my training in Systems Theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Gottman Relationship Therapy.
As a systemic therapist, my approach focuses on seeing you in the full context of your life—understanding you as an individual, within your relationships, and in your social world. I’m deeply committed to investing in our therapeutic relationship, getting to know you, and your needs and goals, and working alongside you to create an approach that’s truly tailored to you.
I truly love showing up and doing this work with you. You’ll find me to be warm, accepting, and non-judgmental. And I strive to create a comfortable, laid-back space where we can work together to achieve your therapeutic goals. We’ll explore tough topics, but we’ll also leave room for laughter and lightness along the way. Above all, you can expect to feel heard, understood, and respected in our time together.
If this sounds like the kind of approach you would like to experience in your therapy journey, I’d love to connect and discuss what the next step looks like.
